The 40th anniversary of Red Clay State Historic Park was observed in a ceremony and educational presentation on Saturday morning. Established in 1979, Red Clay State Historic Park is home to the Trail of Tears, 263-acres of land and nine buildings representing the daily life on what was once a Cherokee homestead. Red Clay is also home to the Cherokee Council Grounds, where 11 general councils were held and the enforcement of the Indiana Removal Act of 1830 occurred. bit.ly/2VtaCK1 ... See MoreSee Less
