Ocoee River Whitewater Rafting Trip Options
Few weekend getaways can offer the kind of exhilaration that Ocoee whitewater rafting does. This Tennessee gem winds 93 miles through the lush, green Smoky Mountains and within the Cherokee National Forest. A 1,500-foot stretch of the river was even modified to create the Ocoee Whitewater Center, used for the 1996 Olympic canoe and kayak slalom competitions. Now, the Ocoee River has been named as the Most Popular Whitewater Rafting River in America!
"This is without a doubt the most fantastic whitewater slalom course in the world."
Albert Woods, former Chairman of the International Canoe Federation
The 12-mile section we guide rolls through more than 20 different rapids and provides excitement for both experienced paddlers and first-timers. There is an Upper and Middle section of the river. Each offers a different whitewater thrill. You can also combine both for a full-day of paddling action.
