Farm Fun

Agriculture is an important part of Southern culture. The back roads of Bradley County take you through tapestries of beautiful farmland laced through the countryside. Several of our local farms have opened the gates to family fun and fresh produce for you to experience and enjoy. You can sample wines and pick your own berries and fruit at Morris Vineyard & Winery and choose a variety of apples fresh off the trees of Apple Valley Orchard. You can pick out a pumpkin or get lost in a maze at Ocoee River Maze or sample the wine varieties of Savannah Oaks in Delano.

Several community farmers markets are listed here. Several of our local chefs shop at these farmer’s markets for the freshest ingredients in our unique selection of restaurants. Bring farm-to-table home with fresh homegrown vegetables for your own recipes.

Hometown events celebrate locally grown products including the International Cowpea Festival and Cook-off in September and the Cleveland Apple Festival in October, just to name a couple. Check out our seasonal events for more information to find out what’s happening in our area during your upcoming visit!
